8.3. Legal gambling ages should be abolished.

In places such as Las Vegas and Atlantic City, gambling dominates the social scene. However, in almost all of those places, casinos are restricted to those 21 years of age or older (a few Indian reservation casinos are open to anyone 18 or older). That has led one Nevada resident to call his state "a prison for those under 21."

While we neither condemn nor endorse gambling, we do not believe that it should be restricted to those of a certain age should it be legalized in a given jurisdiction.
