People gotta stop worrying about the "right " thing and whats concidered acceptable and just do the RIGHT thing .Thats what  I do. I really loathe people who sit there and whine about somehting that theyh find "offencive or creepy " or get all self rightous about trying to "save the world " from "creepy people .

I mean, Sam is ,like what ,40 or something and likes way younger girls and no one seems to be flying any Perverted Justice flags and whining about him ,so I guess a 21 year old who likes teenage girls a 3-8 years younger than him isnt all that bad...

I was always attracted to older women when i was a teen ,and still to girls my own age . Its just that the love for girls the age I was then never "matured" away . Its not that I didnt mature into an attraction for older women like "pedophiles/hebophiles".

Texas. This is because some young people, if not most, are functionally mature enough to consent to sex. Therefore:
1. Young people have a fundamental right to sexual privacy, and that right bars government action against consensual youth sex under the same rationale as the Court's holding in Lawrence.
2. Young people have a fundamental right to sexual self-determination as a matter of international law, arising from the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, and the peremptory norms of international law. All of these rights are protected from infringement by the Federal Government under the 9th Amendment, and from infringement by the states and local governments and their agents and assignees, including parents, under the 9th and 14th Amendments.
3. The application of different standards to youth and adults violates the Equal Protection Clause. Any deviation from equal protection as to age requires at least intermediate scrutiny, which requires that the action be strongly related to an important governmental interest. In my opinion, the present age-of-consent regime does not meet this standard.

In order to test at least the first theory, I have filed a petition for writ of prohibition in the Superior Court of California, County of Alameda, requiring California's attorney general to desist from prosecuting consensual sex between young people. I will keep you, as well as the other faction, updated on the progress of that work. Hopefully you will begin to see whose the "stagnation" really is in the coming weeks.

I understand that its taboo to talk about "sex" sometimes but this is one of the main reasons that I beleive in a push for youth rights.
I have looked up the terms and found out a variety of deffinitions, all of which are patronizing. They claim that teens and people under the age of 18 can't "understand" the consequences and implications that sexual activity has on their bodies and futures but that's not true. They claim that "the mentally disabled and minors (under 18) can't consent fully and must have an advocate. -They claim that children would get "taken advantage of" if the law was lowered.  But this is not so. It's true that there are some children that can't handle that responsibility and freedom, children who are very sheltered. But it is also true that age (from my expereince) doesn't and shouldn't  define most people.   
I know from experience that having a  healthy relationship with someone older isn't always a bad thing and although I have not been sexually active with this said person persay (because I love them and don't want them locked up) I have broken the law before and I don't feel "victimized" or "taken advantage of".

I want to someday live in a world where me and my partner can walk downtown holding hands, were I can introduce him to my mother (because I know that she'd love him if he were my age) and where I won't be judged just because I like someone whose a few years older then me. I want to at least help make that world possible and so that is why I beleive that we should take a stand and at least discuss this "taboo" idea of free love.

I'm 17, and while I've never had sex, I've watched TONS of porn and have been doing so since I was ~11. Heck, I even have a short list of trusted and most liked porn sites! (in my head, of course.) The funny thing is, I can now legally have sex here in Michigan, but it's illegal for anyone to "expose" me to porn and it's illegal for me to be in porn. After all, they don't want me thinking that boobs and vaginas actually EXIST!!!!

Not to mention, there's no need for laws on age of consent or child porn. These laws seem to mainly be in place because of a belief that "children" will be taken advantage of sexually, but what about adults that can easily be taken advantage of? Telling a "child" that they couldn't have consented to sex and therefore were raped, even though the "child" states confidently that it was consensual, does not help the "child" in any way. Obviously, coercion into sex, which people advocating age of consent laws seem to worry about, should be covered under the definition of rape.
