Topic: The French situation : complete passivity of youth
Hello and sorry for my english.
I'm a french teacher (in biology and geology) and I learnt the existence of your organisation thanks to a french judge interested in youth rights : http://associationdemineurs.blog.lemonde.fr/
I found you are very radical and utopist, I'm not so. But I am very happy to see this : nothing can be changed without idealism.
I was lonesome a long time with my ideas. However, I finally reached to find secondary students with the same ideas. We build an association which purpose is changing the french right.
The french civil right for minors is not much known but it is very bad, maybe one of the worsts in Europe. So, parents can open the mail until 18, impose their religion (the french laicity and its cocorico are a big lie). In high schools, the choice of studies (literary, econimical or scientific) is legally an unilateral choice of the parents until 18. That's what we want to change. but contestation doesn't exist in France, we are alone. French youth is very passive.
There are secondary school pupils organizations but they do not play their role. Last year, they made demonstrate the secondary school students for... retirement pensions, it is a huge scandal in my point of view ! I suppose the whole world sneers seeing that, it's a shame.
Nevertheless, the right of associations is relatively good in France. Normally (because of Sarkozy) 16 years are needed to be president but the administration tolerated our 15-year-old president :

At last, the penal french laws for minors are good, it must be said.
