Topic: What if people realized how similar we are?

People seem to have this view that humans are very different based on their age; that what applies to adults does not apply to teens does not apply to kids. What if people realized just how similar humans are at every age? We all feel sad or angry when our freedom is restricted. We all want to be treated with respect. We all want to feel safe and loved.

I think if there were some way we could show people just how similar they are to other people regardless of age, the youth rights movement would take off a lot faster. It would be hard since most people today have very selfish ways of thinking.

Well , some kids ARE different than adults, like small children,,,,LOL.But teens ARE similar to adults ....

whydonttheythink and Simon both make valid judgments.  They are, I think, writing about different issues.  WDTT is focused on our species similarities, i.e., basic feelings and needs.  Simon, I gather from what little he wrote in reply, seems to be looking at social and developmental issues.  It is well that we look at life, in all its various aspects, from varied angles and perspectives.

We also need to look through others' eyes and try to ascertain what they are thinking.

Most parents wish to send their son to a strong school that will provide a sturdy foundation that will allow him to grow into a productive, intelligent man. Deciding on the rightfibromyalgia mdcan prove to be a difficult task, as it is often hard to know just which one is right. It is also difficult to know what their child will do during the school day. Schools might look promising during visits and in brochures, which may give parents comfort that they have made the right choice.

In classrooms where teachers use games as "fillers" the students mope lazily back to their desks, as they know the grueling pain of continuity is about to continue.  In classrooms where teachers use the games in context of the lessons, students aim to learn with eagerness and a sense of purpose.
