Discussion List Policy

1.  The discussion list is open only to members of ASFAR.

2.  The purpose of the discussion list is for discussion related to the
operation of ASFAR and for discussion of topics related to youth rights. 
Off-topic discussion of any kind is prohibited.

3.  Messages in reply to on-topic discussion which are themselves off-topic,
or do not contribute usefully to the discussion (i.e. one-liners which only
say "I agree"), are prohibited.

4.  Commercial email is prohibited.

5.  Binary attachments of any size and large text attachments (above 40k) are
prohibited.

6.  The procedure for dealing with rules violations is as follows.  First
offense, an email warning.  Further offenses warrant a suspension from the
discussion list.  Emergencies such as mail bombs and mass spams do not require
a warning before suspension occurs.  The President shall have power to enforce
the list rules, with assistance to send warnings from others as necessary. 
Suspensions may be lifted by the Board, or by the President.

7.  All members shall be required to agree to abide by these rules as a
condition for subscription to the discussion list.
